Keeping Score! is currently in private beta, so the best way to reach us is from inside the app.

The fastest path to the right person is Settings -> Report an Issue — or just give your device a shake while the app is open. This opens a diagnostic report you can review and optionally annotate with a free-text description before sending.

What’s in the bundle:

  • A rolling breadcrumb log of recent in-app actions
  • Any cached crash, hang, or performance diagnostics MetricKit has collected on-device
  • Your optional note

Nothing leaves the device until you tap Send. Uploads are authenticated with Apple’s App Attest (purely for abuse control — we can’t read identifying info off the key) and land in our diagnostic ingest pipeline. See the privacy policy for details.

When iOS hands the app a new crash payload via MetricKit, Keeping Score! posts a system notification — “Send a crash report? We captured diagnostic data from a recent crash. Tap to review and send.” Tapping it deep-links straight to the Report an Issue compose form, with the crash already attached. You still review and confirm before anything uploads.

The prompt fires once per payload; if you dismiss it, the cached crash sits in Settings -> Report an Issue under Crash Reports until you either submit or clear it. Crash Reports are listed separately from bundled diagnostics so you can tell the two apart in the submission history.

Beta testers are very welcome to share feedback through the same Report an Issue flow — just describe the suggestion in the free-text box and send.

Before reporting, it’s worth a quick skim of:

  • FAQ — common questions
  • Troubleshooting — known fixes for sync, AirPlay, timer, widgets, and diagnostic uploads
